Rebecca Nadel

Cousin

I will never forget how Ruth made time for me, her much younger cousin. She took me out to lunch at the Rose Cafe and invited me to observe her in action at KCRW. All of this was very exciting to a teenager. She very strongly urged me to look up her daughter, Celia, when I moved to New York for college. She made me promise her I would do it, and since she was a force to be reckoned with, when I arrived at NYU, I called Celia. I will always be grateful to Ruth. Celia took me under her wing, and exposed me to new and exciting things with amazing generosity.
