Jason Groman

KCRW’s “Everyman”

Mom Boss, I knew you well. You opened up to me when most could not get past your shell.

Mom Boss, you trusted me to watch your home as you traveled the globe, always bringing me back something to enhance my wardrobe.

Mom Boss, saved a network that flailing in debt, you organized the troops and saved them without regret.

Mom Boss, the visionary always taking that chance. You created a legacy that no one could match.

Mom Boss was a Bronx Girl and did not accept bull from this or that guy. I've even witnessed Mom Boss make a Teamster cry.

Mom Boss shined when it was Drive Time, her wit, & beauty pierced through transmitter lines.

Mom Boss created a world wide institution from a subterranean dwelling without retribution.

Dec 2, 2017 Mom Boss faded in the back of the crowd. We stayed in the shade not to get loud. As I held your hand you gave me praise and said Jason this is the last you'll see of me on this fine day.

Thank you Mom Boss I was honored to be in your universe .
